Smoke under hood.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
07 Honda odyssey. Not overheating, but smoke coming
from under hood and a chemical burning type smell. Only
smokes after being driven, will not smoke just starting and
running idle. When parked after driving and smoke under
the right side (passenger side) is leaking on the ground.
Can't make out if it's used oil or transmission fluid or power
steering fluid. Anyone know what I should look for or it
could be?

Any oil or hydraulic fluid leaking onto the exhaust header will definitely smoke. Impossible to tell from photo whether you have an oil leak or power steering leak. Valve covers can leak, letting oil drip onto headers. Google images of your engine type and valve covers to see what they look like. Another leak source is power steering fluid, a small puncture in the high pressure line can spray hydraulic fluid pretty far under the hood. The power steering pump is driven by a pulley on the serpentine belt, so find the pump and check the two hoses going to it. It'll be messy but run your fingers along it looking for fluid. The fact you only get the burning smell when actually driving and not at idle would suggest it's the power steering that is leaking, but that will need to be confirmed by a thorough inspection.

07 honda odyssey smoking under hood has a chemical smell won't start but will start when getting a jump and smokes as soon as it turns on. I just got a new battery too , the battery is fully charged so I don't know why it doesn't start and I just replaced the terminals
