My daughter has our 2002 Dodge Caravan at school and just called and mentioned the Blower for heat was not working. I had her check the fuse and replace and that was not the issue. Being away and not looking at it what might be the issues for the Blower not blowing or working especially for heat.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Heat not blowing out, the blower does not work. Replaced fuse and still not working, all
other electrical seems to be working.  Being at school I don't want her to be taken
advantage of what are possible issues.

hi if the fan doesn't work at all it maybe the fan itself .....if it works only on high then its the blower motor resistor ....when the fan is on high it by passes the resistor and is wired direct ...// being that the fuse was burnt its safe to say the fan was shorting out...//hopefully you won't need both ....// the fan itself is about $120.00 from napa and labor will be about 0.5 hrs if the don't charge diag time
