So my question is , would you lean more towards trading in my car currently along with a down payment of 400-500 bucks ... would that be something you would be willing to agree upon

Your 2003 Focus is not worth much and at 200,000 miles it is pretty much used up. Also CarGurus does not sell, trade or finance cars. This is ONLY an advertising site. You need to figure out what to do.

Down payments are based on credit, income and how much you are borrowing. Normally you would need at least 10 to 20% down IF you have a good job and good credit.

Incidentally we guys don't sell anything at all. Only ads. I do have a bridge for sale if you are interested ;)
