2002 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4, 4.7 v8 Magnum: headlights, interior lights, electric locks and windshield wipers will not work after battery died

Asked by Tavia Jun 01, 2015 at 11:24 PM about the 2002 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This morning, I needed to jump my truck as
it had died from using it too long without
running the engine.
Now, it starts up just fine but I cannot get
the head lamps, interior lights, windshield
wipers or the electric door locks to function.
I have checked the fuses and they are in
good condition/not broken.
How do I fix this since 3 out of 4 are needed
for regular use?
Side note, the security light continues to
blink intermittently, which is unusual since
it never did before the battery died.
