rough idle

when i have the air on and the truck is at idel or parked sometimes not all the time it idels rough like it wants to die?and when it does idel rough it backfires then it runs just fine.

You may try some seafoam in the throttle body.. not guaranteed to work.. but its a start.. you may take the throttle body completely off and clean it.. it builds up gunk after a few years and causes rough idle.. I need to do that for mine actually, its been a while

had the same problem. air does cause your vechile to increase idle, but sshould remain constant. another thing to try would be get your sensors checked. I have recentley replaced 2 and truck runs smoothly now.
