How to check or inspect the A/C amplifier for toyota corolla 2012?

First make sure there is freon in the system because if it is empty compressor will not start and if it is empty there is a leak somewhere in the system.

What is 'Amplifier'? You mean compressor? What is the mileage on your Corolla? Does the blower inside work, and push plenty of air, albeit warm through the vents on dash? Do you drive in dirt/gravel roads often? I know, lots of questions but will help us help you

The A/C amplifier is a part. Failed on my Matrix. That said, is probably not the most likely reason for A/C to fail.
