Mustang Heater Oddity

Asked by rmurphy427 Dec 21, 2015 at 02:03 PM about the 2013 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey out there!
Last Friday, the heater in my '13 Mustang Convertible would not blow heat unless the engine was above1100 RPM (or thereabout), above that it was fine... it did that from Friday to Sunday, now, today, it's fine, heater was toasting hot even at stop signs-like was always normal up until Friday...
What could possibly do that?!

if heater was not being used for a while then the first few times the coil or heating element need to get "warmed up" pun intended.
