dealer trying to charge higher price than listed price.

Asked by Kaye Oct 25, 2016 at 05:15 PM about the 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I found a 2013 Ford Fusion on your website listed for $9,700.00 at Rikers Automotive. When I went to purchase they charged me over $15,000.00 just for the price + taxes, dealer fees, tag transfer. Why do you allow people to to list 1 price and charge more. Going to report Cargurus to the BBB for allowing this.

Report the dealer if they ripped you off. I hope you did not sign the deal.

Someone answered that they just had a misprint in price. This is false. They said the $6000.00 higher price was because I was financing.

Take it from a former new car salesman: never, and I mean NEVER buy from a dealer. You're a sucker just waiting to be ripped off. That's the way they see you. What can I say to make you buy this car? Sound familiar?
