Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I noticed my clock was wrong so i
states to fix it hit settings>Clock it
automatically went to the correct time
within settings but stayed on the same
time.. like it was 12:39 on car clock
12:40 on my cell so when i hit
settings>clock>time was 12:40 but
stayed 12:40 This keeps happening. Its
still slow even with Bluetooth
connected i did recently get an oil
change but i really dnt see how that
would effect the clock but with this
smart car there's no telling. I feel like
its a wiring issue. If so how do i fix it?
BTW i already reset the oil change
required message prompting on dash
still clock is slow...

So you are asking why your clock is 1 minute off? Really?

Mine is now doing this too. Over and over it is losing time. This isn't a one time thing.

Mine is doing this as well. Once I start my car the time doesn’t change once I am moving. I will notice the time hasn’t changed it can be up to a few hours at a time. Whats the issue???

Mine consistently speeds up. It is now 8 minutes ahead, over several weeks if not changing anything.

My clock often stays at the time I shut the car off and can stay there for hours, then suddenly is right till the next shutoff.

Same exact thing. I just took my '14 in for maintenance and had the techs check the clock - apparently after about four hours they gave up and contacted corporate, who also had no idea. The only thing they could think of was to replace some small separate circuit that runs the clock independently from the rest of the vehicle, but it costs almost a thousand dollars. Ended up deciding to just ignore it and on my way home from the dealer it caught back up to the right time. It's an interesting bug for sure.

I am having the same problem! It started about two weeks ago. I start the car and the clock is correct. But then it stays at the same time until I arrive at my destination and turn off the car. Occasionally, it randomly resets to the right time while I am still driving and then stalls yet again. What the... ?!?!

If we are all having the same issues they should recall it!

Nancy, go into settings and take the clock off automatic updates. Mine was perfect after I did this but it means you have to manually reset daylight savings time changes.

Mine just started doing this. And its not an automatic update thing because I was already having to manually change the time for daylight savings. It is like it freezes and the time stops changing on the display. Then as soon as I tap on the clock to go into the settings it updates to the right time on its own.
