Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so i just noticed grinding on my front brakes 2
days ago they are in need of a change but was
wondering why my car didnt alert me of this before
it got so bad i thought it had an alert light that
would show up on the dash in this situation or is
thst only for when all 4 are like completely out or
for when brake fluid is out? Also my oil life alert
light only went off once since i purchased it saying
to change oil when t was time. Worried it may be a
wiring issue if it is supposed to go off but has not.

I looked at your owners manual, didn't see any warning about brake pads. There is a warning about low brake fluid or brake system malfunction. owner.ford.com has your owners manual, it's free to read online, if you don't have an owners manual.
