2013 Ford Edge Dash Control Unit location

Asked by CHRISTOPHER Sep 23, 2021 at 09:59 AM about the 2013 Ford Edge SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to replace the Dash Control Unit (Part# DT4Z-19980-G) in my 2013
Ford Edge SE due to intermittent fan speed and vent selection issues.

I cannot find one tutorial that details the location of this module!
All's I could find (see attached photo) is a HVAC Control Panel blowout
which seems to indicate (#20 highlighted) that the module is located
behind this panel.

Can anyone confirm that this assumption is correct before I start taking
it apart?

THANKS!

Chris

Could you please tell me if the left side dash panel snaps in and out or if their is mounting hardware? I'm trying to get as much information as possible as I have the part ordered and my wife drives the car to work everyday. By the time she comes home, I've already left for work as we both work staggered shifts. Thanks! Chris
