Just fixed mine myself........press the climate control power button and the defrost button at the same time, then press the climate control again.......instant fix!

Hello, my Ford Edge has touch screen and touch buttons , how can I do this reset? It won’t activate buttons when pressing two at the same time.

Alex-Not sure if you got your question answered but mine is touch buttons too. Make sure you have the car on full power, not just accessory power. When you push the ignition button once, it turns on accessory power, then push the ignition again for full power. This will activate the rest of the controls and allow you to use the Climate buttons without the car started.
