This happened to both my 1969 dodge lancer and my 2005 dodge srt the day I got it. In the lancer I was in putting it into 3rd and once I got it the bushing broke. I could only go up to 3rd gear and at the time I didn’t know how to fix it or even where to being. So I took it to a shop. Once I got my srt and it happened again I did the repair myself. It was like five dollars or something. I know you have to take the air box of and 4 other things. It took a lot of time but once I got it everything was smooth. Only problem is you can never tell when the bushing is going out.
