Need suggestions....thinking cpu reset? HELP

Asked by Bg545 Sep 30, 2017 at 02:55 PM about the 2002 Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so I took previous advice and have
decided to use my wrecked stratus to
repair another, and get back on the road.

So I went and found a 2002 stratus that has new:
Distributor cap/rotor
Alternator/Battery
Maf sensor
Plugs/cables

Gentleman said he replaced everything
above, drove about 200 miles and the car
just shut off. I don't know what's wrong

I'd recommend plugging it into a diagnostic code reader or you could end up spending a wad of cash replacing everything in the fuel injection and ignition systems while the immobilizer is having a fit...
