How do I tell if my timing is off by one tooth?

I changed the timing belt, water pump and motor mount. I started it and it shakes and sounds like it is misfiring. Could my belt be off by one tooth?

It could. Take the timing cover back off and see if the timing marks line up correctly.

Make sure you didnt just leave something unplugged before doing that.
