What type of coolant do I use on my 2002 dodge stratus 2.4L DOHC?

Vehicles use one of four basic types of engine coolant. The most common is a 50/50 blend of ethylene glycol and water. Some people prefer a slightly less toxic blend of propylene glycol and water. Cleaner coolant types are made without either of these chemicals, but may not perform as well as more traditional varieties. Finally, extended-life coolants use additives to extend the life of the engine and cooling system.

Ethylene Glycol 50/50 mix~ let's not get fancy with rust-inhibitors and such, can only lead to trouble~

I'm in California. I changed the timing belt and in the process all the coolant was drained out so I just put the *safe for all makes and models* coolant in. Hope I didn't mess things up. I first looked in the manual and could not find anything saying what kind goes in.

well, ethylene glycol has been used as coolant 50/50 mix has been used since they decided that ethyl-alcohol was a bad deal, as it was volatile and could explode easily...I think it was in the 1930's~ Water, if you aren't concerned with the rusting/corrosive properties of it~
