I want to know will be 2004 4.7 L motor fit in my
2001 Dodge Dakota it had the 4.7 l in it

do you have the brain for the 04? as said above the short block will work...

No it won't, it will bolt in but won't run. 2001 4.7 has 16 tooth toner wheel on crank, late 2002 up have 32 tooth toner wheel on crank. One would need all the motor electronics from the truck they took the motor from. 4000 dollars later at a garage to have someone else do it and my truck still doesn't run.
