I want to know what engines from other trucks i can adapt
to my 2001 dodge dakota v6....i want to put in a engine for
heavy hauling but i want it to be a 4 cil ....is it possible? And
what engine

There's probably an adapter to install a vw tdi but alot of fabrication will still be required. A Cummings bt is a even better choice but thats going to be really costly. You're not going to haul much with a gas 4 cylinder engine
