Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 dodge dakota sport
Hello,
Recently my vent control nob stopped working and
doesnt change bent positions. Its blows a little bit
through all vents but the dial does nothing (wont go
to defrost, blow on feet, etc). I just replaced my
blower resistor and its connecting harness as my
blower resistors kept failing. Please let me know
suggestions and thoughts, thanks

Probably the stepper motor that controls the heater door. To get at it, try behind the glove box door. Might have to remove the dash to get at it. My 2000 Durango allowed me to access the motor, but not align the shaft of the door.

You said you did the resister. I also have a 2000 Dakota quad cab 4x4. Where is the resister located? Any tips on replacing it.
