Want to change low profile tire to regular tire

Asked by Nurse4u Apr 26, 2019 at 08:19 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS FWD

Question type: General

Have a '13 Hyundai Elantra. Have replaced 2 bent
rims from potholes and multiple tires. Hate these
low profile tires that are on about every vehicle
now a days. Want to go with a tire with higher side
walls and give me a better ride. Tires on my car are
currently 215/45/17. 3% tire height variance to
switch would be 25.81, 26.56, 27.31.  So what size
tire should I consider?

1 Answer

Switch to 16" wheels and 215/50/16 tires or 225/50/50 tires.
