Replacement check engine light fuse
My check engine light has been on fo a few months now.
My car runs fine and I have taken it to the dealership and
made sure there was not a serious issue with my car and
they fixed all issues with the car but the check engine light
was still on. The tech told me it would turn off by itself but
it stayed on. I thought this meant there was still something
wrong. I brought my car back to the dealership a paid to
have the issue diagnosed, but the tech wasnt able to find
any issues with the car, however he did recommend
replacing the sensor. So I replaced the sensor but the light
was still on. I called back to the dealership and asked what
the problem could be, and the tech said that the fuse must
be bad and he wanted me to come in and have him fix it.
This would cost me $120, and I'm not willing to pay that
much because I know how to fix a fuse. I can get the fuses
at auto zone for less that a dollar but the problem is, i have
no idea where to find the fuse for the check engine light. I
looked in the manual and there are about 18 different fuses
labeled Engine control module. If I can find the right fuse
for the check engine light, hopefully this fixes the problem.
Please help! What should I do?
