I'm considering a used Prius. What does anyone know about the reliability of the battery?

Read up before buying a Prius. I have a 2006 Prius with almost 240,000 miles on it. I had no major issues with it (except wear and tear items). Except, once the car wouldn't do anything and smelled like rotten eggs. It was the 12 volt battery in the trunk ($165). And at 235,000 I had to repair the hybrid battery pack. It took 2 cells ($80) and about 3 hours (mostly spent watching and pausing YouTube to find out how to get to the battery).
