No heat

So I noticed about last week that the only
way I had heat in my 2001 Dodge Intrepid is
if I hope the idle at 2000 RPM now it doesn't
seem to matter where I hold the title at I
have no heat any ideas on what is wrong I
think it's the heater core but don't want to
tear into it tell I know
