Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi guys,
I just bought an used 2013 Honda Accord EX-L 4 cylinder (36K miles) and
its already making issues,
It has a rough vibration when in idle position (D + Brake) and when
reversing,
Looks like many people who owns Accord is having the issue.
Is there any fix for this?

Also car jerks when stopping,
when car slows down it jerks like the 2-3seconds before it stops,
Is this normal?

I think I won the jackpot on buying crappy used car..
Both weren't felt when I was having the test drive..
Will extended warranty (honda care) fix any of these issues?
If not i will just have to cancel it since it has 60 days free cancellation..

Went to the dealership,
As expected they said its "Normal"

anyone know the fix for above 2 issues? its very annoying..

You didn't win the crappy car jackpot hahaha. I bought the exact same car two weeks ago. Literally the same exact two issues. My research for the jerk while stopping issue indicates that it's either a need for a CVT fluid change, or a need to replace one or two shift solenoids in the tranny. Sounds expensive, but online guides suggest both are straightforward fixes. As for the rough idle issue, I'm still looking into that.

Hi I was wondering if anyone has figured out the rough vibration? I just bought a 2013 honda accord and mine is doing the same thing.

Check your Air intake hose, I had this same issue with mine and found a crack in my hose which would give the car a rough idle, along with spark plugs too.
