Can the light sensor snesitivity on a gmc terrain adjustable?

no, it is not- if you have navigation, you can set it to auto so it adjusts for day/night automatically- if you don't have nav, you can adjust the brightness of the dash lights and display using the knob on the left side of the dash, but you can't adjust the sensitivity of the sensor. Also, make sure you don't have anything on the dash covering the sensor. I hope this helps.
This isn't the problem. My 2013 Terrain SLT's display goes dim just about each day for a few minutes and it has nothing to do with the brightness knob on the left of the steering wheel. Adjusting the knob doesn't correct the dimness that all of if sudden happens. After several minutes, it returns to it's original brightness. Not a huge problem but is a little concerning since i just got the vehicle a few months ago and it only has 38K miles.

This happens to me on start-up. The screen seems to go thru a few minutes of "warm-up" before becoming full bright. Dealer has no clue; says everthing working normally. 2011 Terrain SLT.
My head lights won't come on
