Can I disconnect battery while car is running?

Yes you can,and car will remain running if your alternater is good.But if you are doing that to see if alternater is good or bad I DONT RECOMMED DOING THAT!!!!You can take your alternater to your auto parts store and they can do a bench test on it.MUCH SAFER!!
