Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay I just bought my car a week ago and
haven't had any problems with anything !
Well tonight it over heats on my way home
and I stop at auto zone to check and see
what could be going on my resawore is full
but my radiator was completely empty !
What could this be ! The guy at auto zone
said at first worst case is my water pump
then best case just my thermostat or could
be my radiator !

Start with a radiator pressure test. If that's good look for "weeping" from the bottom of the water pump. That wil tell you if the pump is bad. By all means replace the cap and the thermostat even If the above is all good. Let us know what you find.

If you live in the US look on line for a mechanic. Craigslist comes to mind. The job is not hard or complicated. If you have a Advanced Auto Parts Store near you Google Advanced Auto Parts coupons! You're going to be able 15-20%.
