Nissan altima cvt warranty

Asked by Molp123 Feb 11, 2017 at 02:56 PM about the 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've been told  (after I purchased the
car) that it was wrecked & the warranty
was void. Now I'm having issues with
the cvt transmission & I know it's not
my fault! Nissan has reprogrammed
the tcm but im afraid that I've damaged
the transmission driving the car not
knowing there really was an issue!
Nissan just will not admit to faulty cvts!
Would I be covered under cvt warranty

Nobody let you know the car was wrecked? Isn't there disclosure laws on this?

Which dealership did you purchase the vehicle from? Any dealership that is licensed under OMVIC should know that any claims over 3000$ NEED to be disclosed. A wreck would certainly be over this ammount and therefor I would take legal action against the dealership.

I didn't purchase the car through a Nissan dealership. But my question is what voids the factory cvt transmission warranty?
