i need some advice on what might be wrong

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

it is the Sport package first. ok, one day it was running and driving perfectly, i drove it to work, then i go to leave work and it wouldn't start. after changing the distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires and spark plugs (it wasn't getting spark), it is now running but is missing at over about 2200 rpm's in first. any suggestions on what could be wrong?

the cam sensor is in the distributor. thats the problem. its pretty common. youll need to replace the distributor. its about $600. get it from a parts store and not a dealer. itll be a lot cheaper.
