2000 Dodge Caravan 3.8 liter 6 cylinder my battery and alternator are good but its still showing check engine and low battery it will start up and run but if I give it gas it will cut off .help

Have check engine light codes read. Then post them back on here. This will give you more clues as to what's wrong. Also check battery connections. Even the ones on the frame and motor. If these are loose or corroded it can cause similar issues.

the voltage regulator is internal to the PCM (power control module) and seeing that you have both the charge light and the MIL light on its safe to say there is an issue with the voltage regulator circuit or the PCM....this time of year I would check the wiring from the PCM to the alternator for opens or corrosion...// most likely the pcm is shutting down the engine to protect it from any further damage or it does not have enough voltage to run ...// here is a wiring diagram to help you
