Are the floor mats recommended?

Question type: General

I am looking to buy a new set of floor mats for my Subaru Legacy 2013 and I
found these: https://www.weathertech.ca/en/subaru/2013/legacy/floorliner-
digitalfit/transmission/automatic/ which as laser measured for perfect fit
(apparently).

I wanted some input on whether this is a) a good price ($268 Canadian, so
~$200 USD) and b) whether the laser molded approach is actually required
or if it's just a gimmick.

For background, I have floor mats that came with the car when i bought it but
they are from the guys old Volvo and they aren't made to fit the car.  One
time while driving the mat edge slid under the gas pedal and I couldn't press
down... scaring me enough to remove it entirely.

Cheers,

Jay
