Subaru outback with 23,000 miles sounds like it is dragging a piece of metal

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2013 Outback with 23,000 miles and it sounds like it is dragging a piece of metal. I looked under the car and there is nothing hanging down. Any ideas what it could be?

I drive an 2007 Impreza and I experienced this yesterday. I had to pull over and get a tow. At first there was a burning rubber smell then I began to lose control a little. Did you experience these things also? It's in the shop today, I will update you with what they conclude.

Hmm, 23,000 miles, the car is still under warranty? Take it to the dealer, maybe you have a problem with your transmission?
