How do I prepare my 2013 Subaru Outback to be stored for 7 months in my garage in a very cold winter area? The car won't be turned on or used at all during that time.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to leave my car in the South Lake Tahoe area for 7 months in my
garage. As the winter weather here is very cold, I was wondering what I have
to do to protect my car and have it run normally after 7 months. I can't find
anything on the Internet on this subject.
Thanks in advance for your answer.

Change the oil. Changing the coolant and make sure it is rated for your low temperature. I would fill the gas tank and put fuel stabilizer in it. A battery tender would be a good idea.
