Chrysler 200 radio issues

I'm having the same problem with my car as well the radio sometimes come on sometimes it does not when it comes on if I locked the door or as I drive off the radio goes off and it does not come back on if you get a solution please let me know post it so I can read it I was just told by a guy at Napa Auto parts that I need to go to a radio store & ask if they can check the connection for me
I am having the exact same problem! It started with the radio volume not working but the satellite did so I knew it wasn't a speaker problem. Now neither one of them work, most of the time. Occasionally when I remote start my car the satellite will come on but when I get in the car and try and turn it up or down or change the channel it stops working again.
Volume won't work on radio stuck on zero
I am having the exact same issue with my 2014 Chrysler 200.
Started having the same issue in my 2014 Chrysler 200 today as well. Started off with fm radio not having sound now volume is stuck @ 0 for everything.
Anybody find an answer? Same stuff happened to me.
So far I have updated the uconnect software to the latest version and did a reset by leaving the battery disconnected for 10+ minutes. Neither have fixed my issue. Taking it to the dealership in 2 days, I will update with what they tell me.
Update.. cancled my appointment to the dealership which was going to cost 135$ just to diagnose for them to most likely tell me I needed a new radio. Bought a refurbished head unit (uconnect 130 is what's stock in the 2014 chrysler 200) online for 124$, installed today and problem solved:)
My radio stopped working MONTHS ago.on my 2014 Chrysler 200. For several months after that I could listen to cd's so I assumed it wasn't the speakers. Now, no sound from the speakers either. So frustrating. Yes, I also called the dealer and found out $135 just for the diagnostic test. Don't want to pay that so reading comment above, hopefully I can find a refurbished unit and have someone install it for me.
I got mine off of ebay which was a risk but it worked! I recommend getting one from infotainment.com , more expensive but they program it for your car ahead of time which you will need.

I was having the same trouble y’all have and I don’t have money too spend so I finger out that if u put the car on on and turn on ur radio then start ur car after , it will work ❤️❤️❤️ Hopefully works for y’all
I've replaced the radio on my '13 200 and it's doing the same thing, so it's not the head unit. The next step is to replace the antenna wire. Keep throwing parts until it's solved.
I believe it's the amp
My radio in my 2012 Chrysler 200 works except the am/fm. Bluetooth, USB, AUX, ANd satellite radio works. Not sure if the antenna is messed up or the radio itself. It has 2 antennas, 1 for the satellite and the other for the radio
I’m having a problem with my 2015 Chrysler 200 limited check Engine lights comes up a code B140013 basically it says Active from lift audio speaker output open idk what the problem could be
I have a 2013 Chrysler 200 and I’m actually picking it up from Chrysler today. My radio has no sound but Satelite works. They said they got it to work. But if it quit working again that the Amp would need to be replaced.
Has a bad solder joint on the processor. Flex the antenna connector to see if it will produce sound. Mine did.

My 2012 Chrysler 200 convertible radio went out and the top quit working. The Chrysler dealer shop found 2 broken top operation wires in the wiring harness at the trunk hinge on the passenger side that stopped the top operation. They fixed (spliced, soldered) and it works. They also found the radio antenna coax broken there too but could not, would not, fix it. They said to take it to a radio shop. Radio shop would not look at it. Bull, I found the two breaks in the coax at the same bend joint in the harness (the Chrysler shop didn't put back together). I spliced in new wire to the broken coax, reinforced the harness at the bend so it wouldn't bend so sharp and stay out of the way of the hinge, trunk support and top operation. I also found another green wire broken the shop didn't fix. WHAT A POOR WIRING HARNESS DESIGN. All seems right with the world again. Time to get Ford.

I was having the issue with CD and aux input both worked fine. I knew the speakers were connected and functional. I got no sound on am or fm. I started with the wiring harness on the driver's side trunk hinge. I found no broken wires so I reassembled the harness. The issue is in that area. While I did not fix anything. The radio started working as soon as I messed with that harness. It runs directly to the antenna. Good thing I didn't tear the dash apart first.

Same issue, no AM/FM first satelite worked and now sound from satelite comes in a few seconds then go out off and on. This is obviously a defect IN Chryslers 200s I demand a recall.

To Answer All these radio Issues And yes I know it has been over 2 years for some of these Questions . If your radio as volume control for everything else but radio stations then there is a TSB out that Chrysler has to reprogram your radio with an update .

Similar problem: "seek" buttons don't work. finds no stations, pre set buttons don't work, can manually get stations by twirling tuning dial. Removed radio fuse (#20) under hood. waited, replaced fuse. Problem solved
