Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.9 I turned it
off at a gas station for about 10 min went to
fire it back up but it wouldn't fire.. when I
turned the key over it would just keep
bogging like it was flooded and my
odometer reading "no bus". Can anyone tell
me what's going on and how to fix it

The hard start bogging sounds like a EVAP Purge valve gone bad, when you shut off engine and have a full tank the engine still has vacuum and pulls in fuel... Flooding the car/ hard start
Yeah thanks jerk , I just spent $70 on the part you diagnosed and I'm sitting in the middle of traffic waiting on a tow truck. You sir are an idiot, and a bigger one than I because you opening your big mouth and accepting responsibility for each and every person who has listened to your retarded ass! I hope this stays online so nobody else is where I'm at
You are the jerk/ idiot No One has a crystal ball, I gave you a suggestion ( something to check ) The symptoms you described match purge solenoid failure

I'm having the same problem. The original person had there problem 10 months ago. And apparently failed to get back to tell the world what the fix was. They have roads named after you. My. 2001 durango 5.9 has same problem seems to works when cold. Only trips after all warmed up and at a red light. Have changed the idle air control valve on the back of the throttle body. Idle is better still no bus happening. Will keep looking.
