i need to know how to disconnect the door ajar switch for a 2000 dodge
durango on the right front door.

You have to remove the door panel, locate the switch as it is part of the latch assembly and unplug it. However this may cause some problems with the security system. As you that far you might as well fix it by just replacing the latch assembly.
