show me the cable that goes to the battery from the alternator on the 2000 intrepid

Asked by Bud Sep 15, 2016 at 09:19 PM about the 2000 Dodge Intrepid FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

one night my 2000 intrepid began acting crazy shifting through the gears, trying to stall and a severe power loss.  I had to get a jump to make it home.  Had the alt checked at auto store, showed bad.  Bought a new one and installed it.  Made no difference,  still no charge.  Took the alternator off and back to the auto store and was rewarded with A clean  bill of health.  Exchanged it anyway and had the new one tested,  GOOD, just the same as the next 2 alternators.   I'm checking everything now but I can't find the cable for battery charge from the alternator side.  Looking now for fusible link failure.
