Recurring Chime at Off ramp

Asked by Eddie Nov 27, 2022 at 01:02 PM about the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. I have had this van since new. It now
has 21,000 miles on it and it has been meticulously kept. Here's my issue.
Every single time I approach the off ramp (the same off ramp every time)a
chime goes off. When I leave that off ramp the chime stops. This happens
each and every single time I approach this off ramp. Only this off ramp for
some reason. I can't figure this out. It's not my smart phone or my dash cam.
It is the vehicle itself doing this. Does anyone out there know what cause this
and how to turn it off.

You would think the dash would show "Door ajar" or "Hatch open" to give me a hint as to what it is. So weird. I will take your suggestion and try jacking up the car at different points and see if I can replicate this issue. Crazy beeping chime. It did it again earlier today at the exact same spot. So freaking strange.
