Car trouble need help asap!!!

I have a 2000 dodge intrepid it recently stopped running i
pulled the key out while still running and got out then put it
back in after a minute and put it in reverse then it
shutdown and now wont stay running. What is the issue?

automatic shutdown took over, it lost the key recognition a security issue, work locks with key, disconnect bat, plus cable if necessary and rehook.,leave key in ignition for ten minutes in on position to satisfy the security control box ,

essentially 7jimmy7 is saying that you are rebooting the car like a regular desktop/laptop computer. The chip should read your key when you reboot.

Ok i turned the key and now do i turn it to where the fuel pump kicks on or did i turn it to far?
