Dodge Journey 2013 Sensor Issue

Hello! My 2013 Dodge Journey SXT FWD
would not start for over a week then started all
of a sudden. The mechanic said a sensor was
reading 3 different things about what gear it
was in, then he poked it and it read all park,
then started. What could this be? He said it’s
above what he can do.

Sounds like the neutral safety/range selection switch. It's Standard part number NS628. Hope that helps! Jim
