Need to purge the air out of the cooling system by leaving the radiator cap off while the engine is running until the thermostat opens, and the coolant starts to circulate. Keep adding coolant until full. While then engine is warming up coolant may come out of the radiator. This is the air purging out of the cooling system. Once the thermostat opens, the coolant level will drop. Add more coolant at this time.
