I am looking to convert the stock manual brkes to power (drum) brakes. Where should I start?

The '55 chev's are common for resto's. There are disc conversions that would have a brake booster. I would assume the kit would have a clean finished look. http://www.performanceonline.com/Power-Brake-Booster-Kits-c-967/ Decent starting point. should work with the stock shoes and drums

Thanks. I'm going to get all the parts together and get started pretty soon. This looks like a good starting place. I tried Ecklers, but their information laves something to be desired.
chevs of the 40s also has kits along with national chevy association
