horn

Asked by Joe May 11, 2016 at 01:26 AM about the 2000 Dodge Stratus SE Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn steering wheel to the left or the
right the horn sounds if it's a bad ground or
in the wiring where would be a good place to
start in the column or on the firewall

Inside the wheel itself has a led wheel weight. To fix that problem you will have to pull the fuse or take that wheel weight out for sure that's what I had to do!

are you talking about an actual wheel weight in the steering wheel itself and/or the fuse or relay

Yes, you can also go to the fuse panel an take out a fuse which would be better if you don't want to tear your wheel up if you don't know what your doing!
