3rd brake light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 3rd brake light will work only in morning usually when its
cool, then won't work the rest of the day. And not every
morning. Any ideas?

Note the diagram. Use a test light and check voltage and ground when the problem is ongoing. At the lamp, lower left in diagram, the top wire is voltage, the bottom wire that you can't see is black and that is ground. You can see fuse at upper left in diagram. The bcm is involved, so is brake pedal position sensor. Any applicable trouble codes? Because problem is intermittent, have to test when problem is ongoing. If you want a description of how that lamps works, I'll try to post it. I can only help with testing.
