Ford Focus break on 2nd gear as certain emergency

Can I put a break on the car when it is in 2nd gear and
speed of 40kmh using clutch and break.will car get
stopped? I want it to stop

Yes. Vehicles are designed to stop at any speed but the faster the car is going, the longer it will take to come to a stop. Yes, clutch pedal has to be stepped on otherwise the engine will stop.
