2013 Silverado 1500 2nd gear issues

My rear end went out awhile ago and replaced it.
Now it drives fine in all gears but 2nd. In Drive it's
like it kicks into neutral but usually grabs second in
the manual mode. It'll always grab 2nd when it's
downshifting it just has the issue when it upshifts.
Any ideas?

I think you need a trans only shop to diagnose the issue and I do not believe the new rear end is causing this or caused this issue its a separate issue.

Yeah that was my next plan I just wanted too see if anyone had and ideas on some dumb it might it be lol. I unhooked the battery over night to try and let the computer reset gonna hook it back up and try it shortly. I just replaced a tranny in my ranger really don't wanna do it on this but if I have to I do I guess. Thankyou

Well still doing it so tranny shop it is I guess but it's not when it's only between 5- about 10mph when the problem occurs that's why sometimes it works fine in manual if I'm shifting it
