will a 2007 3 ltr. with flex-fuel work in a 2004 3 ltr.
I have 2004 3 ltr. engine that drown, I have a 2007 3 ltr. flex-fuel engine to replace it, do I
need to change the intake and gasket[s].

I would, remember gaskets dry out if they aren't kept moist at least weekly. Double check the correct location and orientation of every connector, mount and bolt attachment BEFORE taking anything apart. Don't forget to change the oil and filter before start up as well.
