Overnight he raised the quote on this salvaged car
over $3000 and when I asked him why, he praised the
"free market" system! Flabbergasting!!!!! So, please,
Buyer beware...The characterization of the typical car
dealer being Sneaky and Unscrupulous is well-
founded!!!

Most used car dealers are total sleaze buckets. A lot of new car dealers are too. Walk away!

During Pandemic times, dealers have been using the supply and demand issue as a means to gouge customers. Plus we all have money from the IRS.
