if you're fortunate enough to really have a viper, and can't manage to open the hood on it... please do us all a favor and forfeit your privilege to own a muscle car. gotta love daddys money..what a joke

I know there is a release inside the car, either in the driver's footwell or in the glove box or center console. After that one, the is another in the upper driver's side grille slot. Then the hood slides forward and flips up.

open the drivers door and look beside the seat either on the floor or on the B-pillar.

I have a 94 R/T 10 and it's in the front very bottom of the grill. Be careful and make sure you raise both sides of the hood at same time. Then close hood in rear, move to front of car and push down and backward to close. Otherwide, might crack the hood at a cost of around $7000
