Installing a used transmission as you found out is gamble. If you don't want to pay the $7500 for a new transmission with a warranty. Your only other alternative is to source another used or new trans., install it yourself and or the mechanic you mentioned and have them flash and or program it. You can also try a transmission shop and see what they say. Good Luck.

Thanks for replying I guess I will have to see if I find another used one not an easy find but the car is in perfect condition on everything else so I want to be able to find a way to fix it my son deserves to have a good car and its his 2nd favorite besides the evo edition wich I can't afford anyway thanks for your input stay safe during these times

You could get a Lancer Railiart from 2009 & up for around $7500 is pretty much an Evo but less wider. it's AWD turbo with a 6 speed Dual clutch auto. it makes less power than the Evo due to the different turbo set up & different engine tuning. The Evo x has a Twin scroll turbo & the Ralliart has a Single Scroll turbo. It's the same engine layout you could swap Evo parts onto the Ralliart if you plan on modifying it in the future ‍♂️.

My car has a problem, the car is on start but no speed, no reverse, no drive, it means everything is empty, why is that? Thank you
